Time to do my 'end of month' internet bank transfers, been trying since yesterday morning where I just received errors but this morning there is NOTHING at all. Would try to call em but I'm currently in Australia. Is it a maintenance issue I know nothing of?

I'm in the process of installing ALL the plumbing and power in TW's sisters new home, can't trust the Isaan "house bashers" to even attempt to do it correctly.

I bought an 8 station Safety Cut switch board and whilst installing it today noticed a remarkable anomaly, They have used BLACK on the neutral link and OFF WHITE on the active buss bar.

IMO this could throw a spanner in the works for the weekend installers confused about local colour coding rules.

BTW I'm all for the use of RCDs BUT NOT on all circuits. I do not believe items like dry area lighting should be on that circuit (hence the direct link in the photo) and items like independent refigeration circuits. --- Your thoughts??

Am I right to assume the offices will only be closed on the 2nd Jan in lieu of the Sunday New Years Day public holiday.

This thread is dedicated to any member whose partner or relation has just been involved in a seminar where the graduates were given a fully fledged computer hardware system (reported to be valued at 25K Baht but I question that) including a ‘Government Savings Bank’ accounting software package. All has to do with future government village grants and auditing – up to 1 million Baht. Thus far there have been 300 villages (in the Udon Thani Provence) represented so someone in our clicke must know about it. TW has been involved with village development packages since, dare I say the Thaskin SML projects initiated about 2005, and still has the ATM card, heads up the local works committee and maintains accounts and audits.

I’m trying to help her way around this new package and build the initial data base BUT with my severe lack of Thai reading ability it is hard, but we must be streets ahead of most of the other village nomanies for the coarse. I have know idea how the Muppets out in the sticks are going to cope as the whole thing is reliant on them maintaining email connection to the bank, at least I’ve got that covered.

Please, this thread is only aimed at persons with direct knowledge as to what I’m on about.

Had an Expat arrested here on Monday 5th Sept in the province of Udon Thani and taken to Bangkok to await extradition Australia, there may also be Thai charges layed. As he was a long term (non) resident of the area he has many friends wanting to keep abreast of the proceedings.

Is there a web site that keeps up to date information on this sort of situation?
