Not applying to this case but at least twice the very first
rain after smoggy season has harvested a large percentage
of my little fish tank's population.
Acid rain, that is..

Black chicken is a common guest in our household... Yes, definately
of chinese origin and considered a delicacy.
Rimping frozen ones are a bit pricey - we get our deliveries straight from
mountain village up north... 180b per kg (live ones, though our "delivery agent"
takes care of that problem, heh). In Chiang Mai available at least at Friday morning
market (night bazaar area), live ones 250b/kg and dead+cleaned 280b/kg.
Prefer those anytime over KFC stuff but the Oscar goes to self-grilled
standard whitey chicken with my special bbq sauce. Cheaper too.
Heard that it is common for the families raising these to slaughter
each and every chicken before cold season 'cause they'd die anyway...
and when weather warms up again - just buy baby chickens from those suppliers
that have figured out how to keep the black chicken warm during winter

In Topic: Help! I Lost My Only Motorbike Key...

Lost a key (well, wife did) while visiting Kad Suan Kaew shopping mall. Found a "key-shop" ground floor near exit door.
The guy took a... hmm... "make-it-all-key?" from the shelf - walked to the bike and unlocked the thing. Not sure whether
he measured something or took some other data - but walked 40m back to the shop. Produced new key in 5 min and handed it over,
80 or 120 baht or so.. can't remember.
No ID's, registrations or other. Sure we still had the parking ticket for the bike so we were ok to drive
away with the brand new key and (our) bike.
Afraid that one could take any bike out similar fashion by just being convincing enough while driving away.... hmm..
Changing the whole lock module costs less than 1000b, if my memory serves right.
Good service, bad security - go figure.

After way too many years of experiencing geckos in different countries, I have to say I, too, have never heard of them eating human food, only insects.
Hmm.. Can't elaborate on human food but frequently have been witnessing them eating
away their own breed, if the target just fits into mouth.
Even more astonishing, my houshold gekkos have created taste for guppies which
they get from two small fishtanks on my balcony.
If the water level is high enough - every once in a while
one crawls down, waits for its prey, catches the fish and run away.
Those bastards, now they killed Kenny#27...
(though the guppies breed faster than the gekkos can eat them...)
