Having mourned the loss of the Poseidon Hotel Jomtien brunch buffet I was delighted this week to find the restaurant has been completely refurbished and is now serving the aforesaid brunch buffet!
Went down yesterday and was not disappointed , lovely restaurant complete with red carpet at the entrance! Excellent attentive staff and the menu was very similar as the old Poseidon.

Now known as Bistro Oscar with a retrograde look the hot food is cooked to order in the kitchen as opposed to outside, the salad bar and bread station  was excellent as was the sweet counter with the addition of pancakes & syrup, unlimited tea/coffee. Not for the cheap Charlie s as the price has increased slightly to 175 baht but well worth it in my opinion, they will open for dinner on 2nd August and I am looking forward to seeing the menu when it is published shortly, certainly a place to go for a nice meal if you live in Jomtien. I have seen a couple of three wheeled scooters around Pattaya, does anyone know where these can be obtained and a rough idea of cost?

Scenario is this, after many problems with the wireless internet in my condo the engineer took my laptop outside so he was near the wireless booster, he returned after nearly an hour, I now find that my yahoo mail box has been cleared! No in mail, no deleted mail, no sent mail, all gone. Is there any way to recover nearly six years worth of mail? contact yahoo perhaps? anyone have any experience on this?

Well I have a gas cooker with three rings (gas) and one ring electric, the gas is ignited by means of an electronic igniter, for some reason this has stopped working on any of the rings yet the electric ring still works so therefore there is power going to the cooker, any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
