Hi! I have happily used many of the coupon options in Ensogo (Thailand). Today got email from them with latest promotions - and surprised that they state, that from some April date - the deal page will only be in Thai... Living social purchase changing the rules?
(I will work around it with Google Chrome translate but still weird....).
Cheers!

Grounding Of Electricity In Condo
2012-03-16 19:17:56
Hi!
I own a condo BKK on the 20th floor in an older building with no electrical grounding as we often see here in Thailand.
I wish to reduce the sparks, as well as risk especially to PCs and other sensitive electronics, as well as water heater Etc.
I have seen people discussing the subject in the Do It Yourself forum - but that would mean certain death for this retard!
Anybody knows whether:
1. can anything be done to arrange for grounding in an condo (a 60 m cable over the balcony seems unlikely!)
2. if potentially possible to do SOMETHING, who can come and give a quote/check for options? Guessing some Western style/managed service that does not just do a half ass solution).
I tried to contact the thailandguru.com guy, Mark, - as he seems knowledgeable on this but have yet to get a reply.
Cheers!

Report Renew Investment Visa
2011-08-22 18:51:06
Went happily to immigration 2 weeks ago and as I have a new passport (old one was full) I expected a loooong day ahead.
I went, got the forms, had copies done downstairs of old/new passport Etc. Took ticket for transfer of visa (well; extension actually) to new passport, and waited 2 hours (from 1000 to noon) before we were asked to leave for lunch.
While waiting I realized that my transfer of visa extension was at the SAME counter as I would later have to go back to to apply for the visa extension (another 2 hour wait?) - so I decided to use the time to fill out as much as possible and arrange the needed docs for the visa extension. Naturally; since the extension application copies of (new) passport can only be done AFTER the transfer I feared another wait.
Meanwhile I finally got my turn after lunch and requested BOTH the transfer, AND the extension. The officer accepted - and I I had to do was to run down again - for copies of (new) passport WITH the transferred (old) visa - skipping the line and they handled that too in same session.
I DID have the copy shop staff confused, as then also went down to do the copies for my multiple entry permit - so they saw me 4 (!) times in 1 day!
Cheers!

Organic/Free Range/Grass Fed Meat
2011-02-16 17:17:39
Hi! Tried to search for it but end up in farming forums - rather that places to buy it as an end consumer.
Anybody know where to buy organic and/or at least free range and grass fed (beef) meat. Also chicken.
I seem to recall having seen some pork in Villa - but pork is the least favorite meat for me.
I am based in Bangkok.
any ideas/tips?
Cheers!
