Telegraph has an interview with the newly knighted Jon Ive, chief designer at Apple.

Honestly, I never thought I'd see the day where good design is so appreciated - in the days of MS-DOS and later Windows 95 and XP, Apple was competing (or not) on all sorts of things, but design was considered an afterthought vs. tech specs. Cheap as cheap can, how it looks like it totally unimportant. I always disagreed with that - if I am looking at something all day... maybe it's important how it looks like?!?!

These days of course Apple is worth more than Microsoft plus the biggest PC makers combined. An epic victory for good design.

Looks like CAT intends to shut down True-H. Will be interesting to see how they'll explain this to the millions of subscribers already signed up. I'll miss it, if and when they do - TiT so you never know...

The news on TOT is unsurprising - who didn't see this coming from about 100 miles away? TOT unable to retail 3G... but manages to make a loss on its 3G network.

Iphone Condom Waterproof Case

I got a lifeproof water proof case for my iphone - its amazing, but also really sophisticated, big, and expensive.

Now somebody invented a much better solution, much simpler - its just like a condom that covers your iphone 4 or 4s, with a sealed opening on the back that sits flush with the glass backside. Its super thin and waterproof to 10m. Just brilliant.

Physical Therapy After Knee Surgery In Chiang Mai

Can anyone recommend a good physical therapy clinic in Chiang Mai?

My wife had knee surgery - we thought it would be a simple meniscus snip but I guess they fixed some ligament as well as she's not allowed to walk for 2 weeks, and they said 6 weeks recovery and 3 month for full recovery. Don't know the exact details as I haven't been able to talk to the doc yet but we did make sure to go to one of the best knee specialists in CM.

Ideally I am looking for a place where they treat sports injuries and things like that as that type of injury is pretty common with many sports, football, martial arts, badminton, etc.

She is now going to Suan Dok / Sri Pat hospital but it's not that great...
