Don't do it. Its not the same as gold in terms of international standards, and ID. You are better off buying silver coins - if you can find any.

Here we go again
Its this type of talk that caused the 91 deaths last year

My wife and I would like to say congradulations to the new Thai Government, but also warn Thais you may have opened Pandora's Box
In Australia we have a Female Prime Minister who won the election with Lie after lie and is sending our country down a roller coaster of destruction

If the new Government do what they said before the election and put the people first before her older brother, maybe Thailand can find peace
But if her election promises where just lies like the Australian Prime Minister, Thailand has sad days ahead

Australia's election process is very different from Thailand. By and large voters respect the democratic process, and corruption is not rampant. There is little comparison and for sure in Oz a 'six week old politician' would be extremely unlikely to become a prime minister, whoever they may be related to and whatever their gender.

What will be interesting for me is to see how close these polls are to the actual final tally.  There seems to be some pretty weak sampling in many of these polls, so I don't know how much credence I give them.  I think it's a pretty close race, and I think people are stupid to count out the BJT effect.

Agreed! However, my feeling is Democratic+BJT might almost = PTP with maybe Chaipattana as the swing votes.

Thai people, please wake up and vote! "DO THE RIGHT THING"Posted Image

It's an election to pick which is a lesser evil. But think about who would you rather have to lead this country for the next term. My opinion is to go with someone who has done it for the last two years, maybe not with flying color but still has a passing grade, or someone who has not been a public servant. The only experience was at creating corporate profit??? And not even a company she created (nepotism)??  So pretty much, a completely untested novice in both corporate and country's management!

Consider of the policies of each party and how these policies can first benefit and move the country forward first then yourselves! God bless Thailand.Posted Image
Agree with everything you said. Having met her Yingluk recently, the choice is a 'no brainer' as they say. She is a pleasant woman, but such an obvious stooge. How many other PMs anywhere in the world have kept a coalition of SEVEN parties together for 2 years ?

If they had paid a few more bhat they could have been #1.

Yes, my thoughts too. I never know how really impartial these awards are ? But is there another more reliable one?

Anywhere central to North. Nakhon Sawan area has great food great countryside, nightlife if you want it, and very friendly people. Its also not touristy, but has all facilities and shops. Also fast Internet. Otherwise - Petchabun, Khon Kaen, Chang Mai, Chang Rai.
