David, if you want an authorized repair, you could inquire at Siam Dive Enterprises, who have locations in both Bangkok and Phuket, since they are Atomic dealers. If you just want reliable repair, I know a guy on Phuket who repairs most kinds of regs. I can get his contact info to you and you can ask him directly what he can do to help.

You can get tests/inspections at the big dive wholesalers. I take my tanks to Dive Supply. For fills, there are even more options. You can get them at places like Dive Supply, or you can go to the little neighborhood filling station off the soi going down to the Chalong Pier, next to Mr. India.

Excellent idea to get moving on this. Golden Tulip recently acquired the Mangosteen Resort on Phuket, and they should become aware of the importance of marine conservation particularly in view of the fact that this new addition to their corporation is located at one of the top dive destinations of the world.

I actually sat next to the CEO of Golden Tulip on a flight one time and had dinner with him at his hotel at my destination (I was booked there and bumped into him again in the lobby). Although it was years and years ago, and he may no longer be a stakeholder in the company, I'm going to try to remember what his name was and see if I can dig up some old business card or something.

I usually recommend that people decide (or have us help them decide) the dive sites they'd most like to visit and then create an itinerary that will get them there on the days they have available. It is often the case that I book customers on more than one operator in order to achieve the best fit for the itinerary. Feel free to contact me, as well, for booking help.
