Making tempeh starter and tempeh myself now. Unfortunately not using organic beans yet, but I do plan to grow the beans myself in nearby future.
Nevertheless it's extremely cheap to make (beans are only 30 baht / kg and that gives you a lot of tempeh) and tastes great. Keep them in the freezing compartment.
Usually put them in banana leaves, so also environmentally friendly.

What about applying for PR while earning less than the required amount for paying taxes? I mean 15.000 a month.
Here where I live, in the boonies, I don't make much money as an English teacher, about the same as my wife who's a government teacher, but it's more than enough, because hardly any costs and we grow most of our own food. We live a simple life like most locals, with my Thai wife and son. I speak Thai fluently, can read it very well and write it. I'm also an active and devout Buddhist and do donations regularly. Any chances of applying for a PR or Thai nationality?
I'm Dutch by the way. Our family would have to be split up if I wanted to make more money and move to Bangkok instead. That's something we definitely choose not to.
My visa is a non-immgrant O and I do have a work permit.

Does anyone know what kind of proof of the 400k in a bank account Immigration wants?
I have a bankbook and heard from a fellow foreigner that it has to be updated 1-2 days before the application of the visa extension, by transfering or withdrawing a certain amount and update it afterwards.
He also told me immigration wants a letter from the bank.
What about the letter? What does it have to say? Can it be a print out from the bank account, or does it have to be a written letter by one of the bank employees?
Does it have to be addressed to Immigration, or can it be a general letter stating the current balance?
Anyone have an example letter for me please? Can't find any specifics.
