Buying 2Nd House

Hi all,

Need some info on this matter :

Wife and I are planning to buy a 2nd house for rental purposes. In the project where we live is a house for sale by owner. The owner still has a debt to the bank of 1.200.000 baht.

As far as I know this would mean that at the land office when transfering the house in my wife's name and handing over the cheque to the owner a representative of the bank should be there to collect the 1.200.000 baht that they still owe to the bank and the 2nd cheque would be for the owner?

Do I understand this correct ? Anybody ever done this, anything I should know?

Extension Of Stay Based On Marriage

Ok, had my last entry stamp on my multi non o, good till 22 april 2011.
SO next week I'll be visiting immigration to start the 1 year extension procedure, I put the docs together :

- Copy of passport all entry/exit stamps + multi non o visa.
- bank book + letter of bank ( will update and get the letter 2 days priorof going to immi)
- marriage cert and kor ror 2 doc
- wife ID card + tabien barn
- pics of wife and I in front of house and in the house.
- application form and 2 passport sized pics.

AS far as I know this is what I need. Did I forget anything?

Orijen Dog Food

Hi,

Any of the dog lovers outhere know of "Orijen" dry food is available in THailand? Seems very hard to find but is one of the best dry food formulas for dogs.

Anyone any info on this or some other high quality dog food, no commercial crap like Royal Canin, Pedigree or Eukanuba please.

1 Year Extension For Marriage

Hi there,

I've been using a multiple non o visa, the visa itself is valid till 9/02/2011.
have to do my last run on 27/01/2011.

Question : I want to extend to a 1 year extension on bases of being married. Now I suppose this has to be done before 09/02/2011 since this is the expiry date of the non O visa? Do I understand correctly if I do a visa run on the 27th of January 2011 which gives me permission to stay till 24 April 2011 and lets say go to immigration in March 2011 that my Non O will not be valid anymore to apply for 1 year extension since the expiry date is 9 February 2011?
