Hot Air ballooning... ? really, where is the dry ski slope ?

If you are flying in on the A380 to the new airport, it is just behind the passenger terminal. If, however, you are using the tunnel from Donsak, you need to take a left after the first set of lights. Of course if you are using the new bridge, then you need to double back on the exit ramp and then head towards the waterfalls. You can't miss it, the dry ski slope used to be the indoor ski slope before the winds took the roof off and the waterfalls dried up.Posted Image

Now more confused than ever! Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image ...  there's a tunnel after Donsak?

Are you yanking my chain? Posted Image Posted Image
Not yanking your chain, just giving you the wrong direction, it's a left, left again after the first set of lights.

You are out of touch Rooo, the lights have been replaced by a roundabout, don't forget you have right of way in Thailand when entering a roundabout. Posted Image

There is a place up one of the low numbered soi's in Maenam, sorry don't know the number.
They specialise in re-sprays and have one of those closed booths where the air is kept pressurized with the use of fans and compression, to ensure that air is forced out of the paint booth, rather than sucked in.

Maybe worth asking if anyone else is doing a border run in this forum.

Their main office is near the bus station on the left in Naton from Maenam. There's another between the tourist police & Big C on the opposit side of the road.

HTH

Been with them for 9 years now. Excellent company, they take care of you when you need them.
It is important whichever company you choose has a representative on the island who can come and help you immediately should you need it imho.

Is it just one bank?  If so which please? Or is it all of them?

If it is one bank I for one will not use their ATM in future. Getting a new card here is just too diffficult to risk losing it!!!

its very easy to get a replacement card if you go straight to your bank where account is held.took me 30minutes max.i had left my card in another ATM machine the night before.

Ditto. I had to replace a SCB card. Piece of cake, but cost 200 baht.

I have a card issued by Ayudhya that cost 400 baht.
Sounds expensive but you can use any ATM from any bank throughout Thailand and there are no charges (normally 30 baht) deducted.
(Don't think it can be used to get cash from a foreign bank for free though).
