Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea In Decline

2012-01-25 11:31:35

Once members of the Big 4 club, sadly (for their supporters) they have fallen on hard times.

Liverpool, once the pride of the Premiership is but a shadow of it's glory days (remember those, back in the 80's I think). Arsenal, who were 'the Team on the rise during the 90's / early 2000's but for reasons only known to Arsene Wagner, continue to mix moments of brilliance with equal amounts of hillarity. And Chelsea, the Roman Jose domination of 2005 seems but a distant memory to those conned into buying a Samsung kit.

Use this topic to discuss them at your leisure. Enjoy :)

Replacement Washer Hose

Hi, anyone know where to get one? The one on my newish samung broke at the part where it screws into the machine (plastic piece of crap). Does home pro or similar carry such a thing? Cheers

Home Office / Cost Of Living

2012-01-11 18:15:44

Just a quick question. Toying with setting up a home office in cm - we have a reasonably successful business in bkk and thinking of opening up the cm market for us, plus another couple of complimentary biz ops that could do well in terms of economies of scale/shared resources in such a setup.

As it would be small to start was thinking of a home office/townhouse type deal to keep overheads managable.

Any ideas on what such a place would set one back in terms of rent-doesnt have to be high traffic kind of area as our biz model is online b2c and b2b but convenient enough to schools, banks etc.
Thanks in advance.

New Waterfront Market?

2011-12-26 04:01:05

Passed it being built the other day between chatrium and saphan krungthep-called asiatic something.

Looks like they converting a bunch of old boathouses into this upscale kind of waterfront market that one might find in the west. Lots of international flags about-it almost looks like there was some planning before they started construction.

Anyone have more info on what it will be? A proper market or just more tourist junk leftover from the night market. It looks too upscale to be another jj wannabe.

Mandatory Ny Eve Dinners

2011-12-20 04:53:28

Ok, not specific to TH but since I am in the holiday mood I thought I would ask the question to those connected to the hotel industry here:

Why do hotels put a mandatory charge for NY eve dinner?

With the 4 day holiday fast approaching, many people (like me) are considering getting away for a few days but all decent hotels it seems feel its ok to add /demand this autocharge.

High season rates not enough-need to squeeze your guests even more?

How about we start a list of hotels (decent ones-3 star up) in the country that don't practice this poor behaviour and let the market decide?

Any suggestions in Pattaya, Hua Hin etc?
