If 6 feet silicone wonders are a preference, no problem. There are a lot of Russians in Thailand.

I would hazard that offering bank books, leases etc only reaffirms to them that you are not infact a tourist?

Buying affection or love is just sad. Sex however is an itch....scratching that I can understand.

#5299072 Are Women The Strength Of Thailand?

Posted bago on 2012-05-14 10:54:50

most men come to thailand because of the thai women whether they admit it or not that alone brings in a large revenue house purches ect. so i would say yes
alas its only after a while that these men relise that they have made a mistake and see that there are better women elsewhere  in the world smoke and mirrors again

#5167329 The Old Guys Are Funny

This is quite an interesting post as I have often quite wondered myself and I am a 24 year old woman. I'm not married and I don't have kids and to be frank, I'm not sure I ever want to go down that road...

I have to say that I have met a few lovely older men who have told me their story and its all quite heart melting. I met one guy who came out here to visit his daughter who is the same age as me after she begged him to come out here after his wife had done a runner with another guy in the UK. He came out here for a 3 week holiday and never went home! For his age (I think he was late 50s) he was totally full of life and very happy with his new wife. It was just really lovely to hear his story and nice to see.

Also I have a lovely female friend who is in her 60s who said she basically started living life when she moved here 5 years ago. She's totally rearing to go, doesn't act like an old lady and I have fab nights out with her! She's a real laugh! I sometimes look at my Mother and wonder if she would be the same if she came here to visit me... I feel sorry for both my parents who are working in the UK, however they're so trapped in their little lives that they're too scared to venture out of Europe. They keep saying they're too old when they're only mid-fifties!

well 85 years old first wife around 35 years second Thai wife now over 17 years. First 3 kids second 2 kids. But I doubt their will be third wife. I never play around was totally faithful to both wives and only concern is will I be around for our 2 kids university graduation in a few years. Its all a matter of resources or to put it bluntly money. If you have enough not a problem andI dont mean millions of US $ or GBP but enough to live a decent life and make sure if something happens to you theirs enough to support the wife and children at least until children are 25. What would I do without my wonderful Thai wife ? Probably be just another looser young or old shagging themselves silly. Not for me thnaks.

most raids on those bars if not all have used some farang grass/snitch as the bait....blame your fellow farang do gooder!

also quite rightly that street has always been known for one thing and maybe some handsome man back home might see the twin sister of his tirak grafting down there whilst she is back in issan being a good girl for her love?

just a couple of maybes?

5 years ago the girls didn't know as much about the internet and YouTube like they do now. I don't blame them for not wanting to be filmed and you are lucky you didn't get your camera smashed.

#5158981 Another Drunk Farang.

Posted BookMan on 2012-03-23 15:48:29

Brought in intoxicated? Was the hospitalisation because of the intoxication?  most likely...

Personally I have little time for drunks.  In general they no responsibility for their actions when drunk, then expect good Samaritans like the OP to run  about and clean up their mess.

Bloke should take responsibility for his own life , let him sort it out however he can or wants to..

#5153817 Uk Budget Not Good News For Pensioners

Posted theblether on 2012-03-21 23:15:08

Come on exeter........£10500 a year tax free is beyond what anyone would have expected years ago. The budget has been excellent for low income people of working age, and it has to be commended for removing a lot of people from taxation.

No one expected the personal allowance to get to this level so quickly.......so a little solidarity with the poor working class is called for here.

I look forward to a documentary filmed at the other end of this business - back in Farangland, examining the personal lives of the foreign men who come to Thailand seeking Thai wives, their troubles, tribulations and mindset.
