For some reason after shutting down the laptop overnight and re opening the following day Chrome will not open which is my normal browser.

FF and IE work normally.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but makes no difference. I can right click the Chrome Icon which pulls the last few pages viewed (which I thought wouldn't be there as unistall/reinstalled) and if I try to open a page the following message comes up on the laptop but without opening the Chrome browser....

C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

  Unspecified Error

Any suggestions please !!

Following on from reading one of Thaivisas moderators sensible reasoning yesterday I contacted the British Embassy (a job in its own...) with my own situation......

Despite my son having a British Passport they couldn't care less about a British National (me) currently in England who is asking for possible restrictions on his son being spirited away wherever who is currently in Thailand....

Not a chance of a block being put on the Passport and with a British one it would be fair to say he could be taken anywhere......

Absolute joke......

I totally give up with Thailand and its Nationals........"Thailand wins again" is a comment heard many times. Could not agree more sadly.

I rue the bloody day I ever first stepped into the Kingdom.

Am not going to play the "I'm asking for a friend bullshit" so would be grateful for any suggestions.....

It seems highly likely for a number of reasons that separation and divorce are on the cards. Now having in the past been too "easy and relaxed" with settlements of any kind I have no intention of it happening again.......

Now my question is simple.......

Can my wife walk into a lawyers office in Thailand and claim she hasn't seen me in years and wants to end the marriage. Can this be done ??

Let me say right away that back in the real world she would not have a leg to stand on as my behaviour and financial assistance etc has been immaculate. However I don't consider Issan to be part of the norm and as such am concerned that she could indeed pull some sort of stroke.....

It goes without saying that when back in Thailand I will contact a lawyer at the earliest opportunity so am looking for some interim suggestions...

Can she walk away (we have a son) claiming I no longer exist ??

How can I cover my backside in the short term...??

My hotmail account is being targeted for whatever reason whereby I'm constantly having to log back in despite already being logged in.

Soon as open the web page the "lock out" information is telling me that too many attempts to log in have been made but at the moment still giving me the option to get back in with correct password and writing the two displayed words into appropriate box.....

It would appear that no one has got in yet as password pretty much unbreakable in my opinion. Of course someone could be logging in and out and doing whatever they want to do in the interim ??

I've tried using the help part of hotmails home page but there's no where to send an email asking for assistance or anything that I can see.

If I get permanantly locked out I'm in serious trouble !!  

Any suggestions ??
