There's not going to be a second airport you know. Even the authorities aren't that stupid.

Well that's good news! The best all day.....Posted Image.....  I bet BKK Airlines is happy too....Posted Image Posted Image

...... but I still say KP is not going to be so lucky getting it's first one! Posted Image how ever small it is! Posted Image

BKK Airways will sell their rights to the airport eventually...likely to finance other routes and give a decent payoff before a less favourable government happens. Don't ask me how long this will take though...

Smokie. I'm really impressed as to how  you know so much ,,er any chance of some help with the lottery numbers?? Posted Image

Let you in on a little secret. Do you who & his friends in cabinet purchased most of the land around there?Seems very funny with the current government in power, that this raises it's head again.

Who cares about all that. Give me MONEYPosted Image

Are you implying that your are 'connected' in some way???Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image
I wish lol.

A very good point Rooo. The last time HE was in power the DOA were running around the South of the Island trying to find sites. And funnily enough the ones most suitable (which are not anyway) were brought up by the Family and friends.
So, should we see high level changes in Govt. We can expect this can of worms to be re-opened.

The pity of it all is that the existing airport could, with a small runway re-alignment handle extra and long range traffic.
A new airport will devastate the remains of this once beautiful island and the infrastructure to support it will change things beyond all recognition.
Beside which the high ground around the proposed site will not allow a safe stabilised Instrument Approach approach for wide body aircraft. Posted Image

Stunning silence from Big C and Smokie! What can this be? Posted Image Posted Image
Why would you bother with this little bit of cheap propaganda. That price was the normal price not so long ago lol.
Trying to fight for the remaining 1 to 6 seats what a joke.
Hurry, Hurry.
There I was thinking that as a Mod, you were sort of neutral Rooo!
Well I would be a complete bore,I am entitled to an opinion, it has nothing to do with moderation.
If I remember correctly these prices were the norm for early & late flights. If I consider this a joke so be it. It is a passifier, but for whom?

I also share the views that PG is way too expensive. However, I do feel that on this forum there is absolutely nothing that PG can do which is acceptable
to the same regular but small band of PG haters. To quote: PG are damned if they do, and damned if they don't!
Nevertheless, IMO it's still a step in the right direction.Posted Image
