Seems the Low pressure area down South is going to move up almost overhead Samui this weekend.
Monday is forecast around 4M waves and S. winds up to 53 Knots with heavy rain.
Checked with Wind Guru and Passage weather and they both say the same thing.
I'm not taking any chances and going to move my boat out of the water!

I keep Siamese fighting fish (Betta) but am concerned that they are not getting all the type of food they require.
I give them the special dried food (larva) in granule form but they appear to eat it then spit it out. I would like to try other foods
such as live brine shrimp but not sure where to purchase.
I don't seem to be able to keep them for more than a year at a time and they live in separate tanks with regular water changes.
Any advice gratefully received

Thai Visa Forum Layout

Just wondered why it was felt necessary to change the layout of the Thai Visa pages.
It does't seem very user friendly and I really miss the breaking news ticker tape which was at the top of page.
Has it been moved somewhere else?

Tesco Rip Off

For those unaware. It is Tesco policy to only guarantee any electrical product for seven days from purchase.
My UPS box went U/S after 9 days and they were not even interested in sending it back to the manufacturers.
They stated that it is my responsibility to send it back and as it had a manufacturer guarantee
that was an end to the matter as far as they were concerned.
I asked if large appliances such as TV's, washing machines etc were similarly affected and they confirmed it was.
The costs associated with packing and sending would be astronomical.
It seems that there are no trading standards here. It is a shabby way of conducting business, particularly
by a well known International company such as Tesco's.
