I do go to cafe noi quite often and do enjoy their panini sandwiches. I think its really high quality for the price and the smoothies are wonderful too. The roti wrap, i have only tried once but it was delicious. I hope they do well and would recommend them.

Not quite on topic but I happened to make a trip to Chiang Rai and was delighted to have Khao Soi at various different places around town. The portions are huge in Chiang Rai for some reason.  Most tasty one I had was right opposite Wat Roon Khun ( the white temple). Across the small road just right to the big parking area. And they have some really nice Salapao places around the clock tower area in the town center.

does anyone know if a re-entry visa is needed for those with a non-immigrant visa to cross the border into Tachilek. I haven't gotten mine and was hoping to take my family there just for an hour or so.

just wanted to leave a quick update that the reopening of mad dogs would be tomorrow instead of today. full staff in there cleaning the place up today.
