Hi everyone,
I am planning a drive into Bangkok and the person we wish to visit lives at Theparak road near the Highway 9 exit (Kanchanapisek East), south of Suvarnabhumi airport. I will be driving from Chiang Mai and of course would have to take the other highway route 32? to bypass Nakorn Sawan and Ayuthya areas. Is it possible to get into Kanchanapisek Rd (highway 9) heading towards Chon Buri Pattaya at this point of time? We intend to drive on Saturday.
And information or help appreciated.

50 " Plasmas Lg And Samsung
2011-07-25 19:16:34
Hi,
there are currently two models of 50 inch plasmas going at value for money prices. would like to grab one of those but thought I'd go to the forums and see if anyone has done a comparison between them. One is this:
LG plasma
And the other one is this:
Samsung
Prices are almost the same around 20-21k. Anyone know which one would be a better buy?

Nintendo Wii

I bought a Wii from a shop here in Chiang Mai and the salesperson there specifically not to connect to the internet? I however see lots of people doing lots of things on the internet with their Wii machines. The salesperson said that the games might stop working if you connect to the internet. Probably cause there was some games given to me on discs. The machine has Uloader which I use to play some discs. So would my machine really stop working if I hook it up to an ethernet cable? I would really like to use it to watch Youtube etc.
Blackberry Plans W/Dtac
2011-03-11 10:42:50
Hi everyone, picked up a BB 8520 for 6,900 yesterday! signed up with DTAC shop on their blackberry plans for the Blackberry Life 30Day plan which included emails, Social Networks (FB/Twitter/Flickr) and Chat (MSN, BBChat,Yahoo). Internet is NOT included unless you go for the 790 baht unlimited or 30 days.Thing is that when i click on a link in Facebook or something, it takes me to the BB browser and loads the internet content. So I am thinking that DTAC has very smartly been charging me through my prepaid for the internet data. How can I prevent this?? I only need to use what is in my package but use internet though wifi only.
Is there any way i could do settings on my phone to prevent using GPRS/EDGE when in browser mode? or the only way is not to click on any FB links?

Vehicle Financing

So I get a loan for 48 months. Interest at 3.6%p/a. Lets say a loan of 600k Baht. They calculate interest expenses at (3.6% x 4 years = 14.4%). Loan + Interest equals= 686,400 Baht. Divide that by 48 months and its 14,300 payment per month. BUT! thats not my payment. The payment is 14,300 + 7% Vat = THB15,301 per month for 48 months.
Is that the way things work around here? cause it seems like daylight robbery. Any input on this?
