we are in the process of arranging to relocate to the UK with my partner being on a settlement visa.
If we wish to get married once we are there and settled do we have to specifically apply for a fiance visa or can we get a "normal" setttlement visa and simply get married as and when we wish once we are in the UK?
Thanks

Alternative To Bulats For A1 Test
2011-10-19 01:50:03
Having looked online for sample of A1 test levels it seems that it is just an extremely basic level of English that is required for this low level certification.
Hello, my name is etc etc
Except when you listen to the BULATS test its all about 1st quarter performance etc, not exactly basic level English.
What if any, are the alternative choices that are available in Bangkok where the test is more elementary?
Thanks

Hi
Quick question, after a settlement visa has been granted in BKK and your Thai partner arrives in the UK what is the situation about visiting the rest of Europe, do the applications still need to be done in BKK or as they are here on a settlement visa can they be done somewhere closer?
Thanks

Hi
IS there a difference do you think in how the application is looked at if you are married or not or do they simply look for the length of the relationship?
Unmarried partner, 6 years, two kids should be fine i would hope for the application but would it be held against us that we have not got married?
Anyone know...........
Thanks
