Ok, so I am looking for something between 1.1-1.5kg The gym I am going to has, at the smallest, 2.5kg. I am on a program where I up the weight ~5lbs each time I do that exercise, so for my squats I am adding 15lbs over a 3day split and I am going to reach a point soon where I will fail when adding 5kg each time, I've already reached that point on my presses...
Anyways, so I went to sportsworld at KSK and they only had 1 1.1kg weight. Central department store had nothing, an exercise machine shop at the moat near Ratchamankhan wanted 1400B for the pair, which is INSANE
So if you know of any other reasonably priced places, please inform me, else I will have to ask if they can order the weights for me at KSK, but I don't want to wait.

Transferring A Bike Recieved By Post
2012-05-05 19:56:18
Ok, So I am trying to find a Honda Nice 110cc to use a s donor bike (engine, brakes, forks etc) for my Honda Chaly and have had no luck in Chiang Mai, but I have seen plenty online. I want to purchase one and then transfer it so the engine etc are in my name so if I get stopped I have a paper trail for all my parts. So, can I have a bike posted to me and have the greenbook sent to me and get it transferred (guessing the other party needs to start this process) or do we both have to be there to transfer it?
Thanks all, I am new to all the transferring procedures and tried using search to answer these questions but didn't see the answers

Any Classic Scooter Fans?

I know there is a big following of big bikes on this forum, but I was wondering who likes classic scooters. I see a lot of threads about the newer automatics etc, so I know a lot if not all have something smaller for the in town rides.
I previously owned a Honda Chaly and sold it last summer and I am looking to get another toy.
It went from this:

to this:

25 downloads
100cc dream engine with a piston from a Cheer
Nova forks, larger wheels, endurance exhaust.
It would do 80kph and pull wheelies in 1st and second
Now I am torn between doing a custom C70 or another Chaly, or which to do first.
I hope to get my hands on a Honda nice engine and do a 160cc bore up kit on it and have the chaly look something like this:

If I do the c70, I am going away from the traditional look. Thing a hot rod look, flat black, white walls, powdercoat the rims red with chrome spokes.
Something like:

I know it's nothing like the custom choppers that some of the members here have, but I really don't want to drop 300k on a bike, nor am I ready to handle something that big. I hope to pick up a nice clean Yamaha SR400 and cruise around the North on that.

Invadeit

Anyone know what happened? I was debating buying a laptop here in the US or building a desktop back in Thailand. I was told that Invadeit is a great site, but now it's down. Any other options for me if it's an out of business situation?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Need Some Input

Here's my situation,
Right now I just graduated with a BSED Biology and a minor in Earth sciences and I am considering coming back to Thailand.
I taught in an EP program for 2.5 years in 2006-2008 before returning to the states.
I am really thinking about moving back for a year or two with the intent of looking at it as a permanent move. Since moving back to the US I can not stop thinking about moving back to Thailand as quickly as I can. A return trip last summer didn't help this...
My question involving international schools is that I have the education qualifications and can become certified in ESS and environmental science in BKK as well
but my teaching experience is from the primary level and I am certified for 7-12.
I am wondering how hirable I am at the moment and if working at a bilingual school teaching science for a year or two would go a long way or not.
My last problem is that I am really wanting to move back to Chiang Mai and would be willing to work at a bilingual school and supplement my income while waiting for an opening.
So, cliff notes:
Certified teacher but no experience in the US
2.5 experience in Thailand
Good enough for a entry level international school?
would 2 years teaching my field in a bilingual school in Thailand improve my chances?
Thanks all.
