There is also a speed boat service from Ao Thammachat which during busy periods is worth paying the extra. I can't see why anyone would go to Centrepoint if they were driving from the West.

Plenty of good places to eat on Koh Chang, but also some duff ones. Paddy's service goes from good to bloody awful, it really depends on who is working in there, but I do like their roast dinner. As for the place in Bang Bao, yes it has been having a few problems of recent with service. Runag Thai is probably the best place on the pier, although Barracuda is also good value. Saffron by the sea is a nice spot in Had Kai Mook to have food. There are as always, good and bad.

A bit misleading, as only a couple of the names that are mentioned have actually confirmed. However, it will be good if there are more of the bigger names coming into Bangkok.
