most of what i read here is not how man work , its really simple and i will explain it to you all fast and simple.

1) Man have good brain
2) man have penis
3) man dont have enough blood to let both work @ same timePosted Image

in general we cant help it ( man) people are not made to be with one person its aganst our instinct and in some ( this should be no excuse) there is the hunt that just makes all the risk worthfull

Absolute nonsense. Do you think women arent swayed by flattery and good looking men? Of course we are! If a couple have agreed to be monogamous, and they have love and respect for each other, then rational thought and consideration (should) take over, no matter what temptation. If you are happy and put in effort in your relationship, and vice-versa, why taint that? Honestly fed up with this kind of bullshit excuse.

You cannot stay on topic when presented with a simple question????

To answer your question, yes I can, but it's nice to know what places are and aren't open when making evening plans.

#5168718 Marmite

Hello fellow Marmite lover. Here in Chiang Mai we can find it in most (but not all) branches of Tops. We can also find it in Rimping which is another western style supermarket but I am not sure if you have them there? Also, can be found in smaller health food style shops.

When I investigated it, I worked out that to get 2000 grams of Marmite sent here (four of the biggest size jars) would only cost 100 BAHT more than buying it from the shops (the problem being that the shops don't always have it!) Luckily I have not had to resort to such measures yet. I believe that they have a distributor in Malaysia which is not too far (I found it easily and cheap when I was there.)

When I am in England I am going in search in one of those big buckets that you can get of it, I am not sure if they sell them in England or not, but where else could sell such a big size of it. I am thinking of trying Makro. You might want to try to do the same daftpunker, and one of them should hopefully last you out a year or two! But hide it in your suitcase as I'm not sure it's allowed.

Cheers Marmite on toast all round. Posted Image
As I look at a just emptied jar and as another marmite lover you could when in the UK ring 08000323656 (Marmite loveline) and get any info from them. I didn't know they produced them in buckets.

If in doubt, then Villa can usually be relied on to stock this inferior form of yeast extract, usually a couple of shelves below the Vegemite.

If they are out, then you can always mix a bit if Vegemite with sugar to get a marmite like taste.

There's no sugar in Marmite you misguided fool. I tried Vegemite once, tasted similar to shrimp paste to me - awful. Perhaps that's why you prefer it?

I have to get my sugar free Chocolate from Central Chidlom BKK from Mrs. Flowers Chocolate available in both milk chocolate and dark.  They tasted far better than import ones from Rimping.

Thanks. Mrs Flowers are the one's that I heard about in Bangkok, but I did not know how they tasted. If worse comes to worse, they could probably be bought on-line.
The higher the cocoa content, the better. A couple of squares a day along with a glass of red wine is Posted Image

I introduced Mrs Bendix to a guy from Newcastle once.  I could barely understand his English; Mrs B just looked at him like he was an idiot, which shows what a fine judge of character she is.

Fine judge of character - or simply a racist who cannot accept when people do not speak queen's English?

A fine judge of character.  He was an etho-centric idiot for not having the sheer decency and consideration to adapt his colloquilisms, realising he had actually moved more than 10km away from the River Tyne.

He had the gall to ask why Mrs Bendix didn't speak English.  I told him her English was better than his.

#5042459 Dog To England

Posted Nienke on 2012-02-09 17:43:34

Dog need to be micro-chipped and vaccines up-to-date.

Blood drawn for serum, which then has to be send to a registered lab in the EU or UK for serological Rabies testing. Form the day of the blood drawing dog need to stay another 3 months in Thailand before it can enter the UK. No more quarantine required in the UK, IF the serological test s done properly. You can find this info back on the DEFRA website.

Just before the travel export permit and health certificate need to be acquired at the Animal Quarantine station at Suvarnabhumi Airport (Chiang Mai is also possible). Not sure about Phuket.

Costs involved:
* micro-chip: dunno (500 baht?)
* combined 5-in-1 vaccine around 300 baht
* blood drawing around 300 baht
* sending blood to EU or UK by EMS 990 baht
* serological test 50 euro
* Health certificate and export permit 50 - 100 baht.

Be careful with those who say they can do the blood drawing and sending blood for you, and charge you between 12 and 15,000 baht. Yup, there are several pet owners who were told this price.

If you need more info, please feel free to send me a pm. :)

#4340746 How Often Do You Correct Your Wife'S/ Gf'S English?

Posted sbk on 2011-04-07 11:25:43

I realize you are asking about "cute" Thai girlfriend English but I thought I'd put my two pennies worth in anyway :)

My husband's English is very good and he will ask me for the meaning of words on occasion but I have never really corrected him much. Usually I just make sure I speak proper English with him at all times and he has learned to speak correctly that way. Speaking pidgin English with your partner is foolish IMO since it teaches that person the incorrect way to speak English.

Better to speak more slowly, more clearly and if necessary, use simpler words (or do what I tend to do, use a more complex word but then explain it) so that your partner's English is improved without them feeling picked on, criticized or like an idiot.
