Planning 3-6 Month Stay: Can I Do Visa On Arrival?

Hello, My intention is to arrive in Bangkok and get a visa on arrival....and then get an extension after the 15 day visa expires. However, I read here that an extension to a visa on arrival is not possible.

Can anyone please clarify or confirm/deny if that information is correct?

If it is correct, what is my best way to initially or eventually get a 3 or 6 month visa?

HELP!!!

I just squeezed the last bit of my loved Tom's of Maine toothpaste out of the tube this morning. I won't be back in the Excited States for another three months, and, trust me, none of us wants me to go that long without brushing my teeth, right?

So, please, tell me where I might find either Tom's of Maine, or some other such toothpaste, here in Bangkok, ok?

Petanque Courts In Bangkok?

Hello, everyone. I'm told Thailand is the second largest Petanque playing nation, right behind France. However, I'm having a helluva time finding a place to play. If anyone can give me SPECIFIC, verifiable information, I'd be very appreciative. I live in Banglamphu so the closer to that area (around Khao San Road), the better.
