Hey all,
I live and work around Prachinwet 1 / Wat Samiennari area. It was flooded, but now is dry for the most part around Khlong Prapa. There is still water at the other end near the temple.
Tomorrow I need to drive from Wongsawon to Kaset Nawamin, any ideas? I usually will drive up Ngamwongwan to Nawamin all the way to the big apple and turn left. As far as i know that is not possible in my small toyota....Changwattana also i assume. Could try going up Ratchada and turn left towards Kaset? Im not that familiar with other routes.
Thanks for all ideas!!!!

Hi guys,
I am currently in UK and flying back to Swampy tomorrow. I live up near Wat Samien naree (Vibhavadi Rangsit road) - does anyone know if this area is still flooded/to what depth? I'd like to be able to get home if poss!
Cheers.

Wat Samien Nari and all of Prachaniwet 1 are still under water. I work there and drive by everyday (coming on prachachuen/khlong prapa) to see the status. There are tents and police stationed there all day at the base...boat service and all.

My cousin lives on Prachaniweit 1 near Wat Samian, across the street from Bon Marche has left his house. Said water has risen significantly since last night when it was ankle deep to now waist deep in his soi and still deeper. However for me on Ngamwongwan Rd on Nonthaburi side is still dry, but I heard that The Mall closed at 2pm today.
I work on Prachaniwet 1, the whole area is indeed under water. Khlong Prapa has seen some improvment with the millions of sand bags they put up...but all the side sois are under a lot of water.
I live near the end of ratchadaphisek between Prachanakun intersection and Wongsawan, still dry but seems like it is headed in this direction.
The photo is the base of Prachaniwet 1 at Khlong Prapa...it is much worse on the other end at Wat Samien Nari.
Take care..be safe.
In Topic: Anyone Flown Eva Elite Class?

I think it is worth it. I fly elite everytime...i am actually in EVA's VIP Lounge at SFO right now arriving friday night. I am not sure it that is included in every elite class ticket or if it is my silver card status. Anyways...it is a lot more leg room and much nicer service. If you get the VIP lounge which i think you will...it is well worth it...open bar and good food. Enjoy..
