This is a project between Thailand/ Italy Company and Burma. Thailand could be accused of Crimes against Humanity by being implicated  in this.Make your own mind up...
There is also a coal fired Power Station being built near the Airport in Chiang Rai which may be of concern too.

My wife on her way to pick up my son from school on the normal route past the Rim Kok Hotel entrance was given the shock of her life...She turned left past the hotel and where the the road bends to the right a four wheel truck coming from the other direction sundenly pulled on to her side and block the road..screeching of brakes and then the driver jumped out and put a gun to the head of a motorcyclist who was in front of my wife...it all hapened in a second and my wife had to brake hard to avoid a accident..Our baby was in its seat strapped in thank god in the front..terrible thoughts raced through her mind ..She was worried they would shot him ..Another man then came out of the side of the road and made the female pillion passenger sit down on the roadside with the driver..She was then able to drive on to my pick my son up....If it was the police it was just a crazy way to stop someone on a motor bike and could have caused a terrible accident..If was the local mafia then she was very lucky the gun was not fired...this happened at 4pm yesterday ...Anyone else see or hear about it? i'am just happy she and my baby were ok...

First i hope I'am not breaking any rules asking for advice on the subject of proxy servers..
I have been using hide ip ng for the last year to access tv iplayers from abroad.It has worked well.I have tried to renew my subscription and they will not accept my hotmail account as a correspondence reply(send me my code/password) because its a free service . They will not accept yahoo either or any other free email supplier.I assume that they do not consider free email accounts as secure enough to correspond to.I have sent them a email which they have replied to but as usual they did not offer any good advice in fact said I should pay by a different method( they did not read my message properly) ..My credit card is not the problem.So does anyone know and use a paid for email account which they can recommend? A cheap as possible one should be fine as I'am happy to continue with my hotmail account for my regular correspondence....Please post here or send a personal message to me.Any recomends also on a IP address for the UK/USA other than hide ip ng would be useful if i cannot renew my subsciption with them..Thanks in advance Dave

At 10.24pm sitting at my computer desk I felt the ground shake beneath me look up and saw my 42" tv rock back and forth...Felt like a train passing but no trains in Chiang Rai unless it was the ghost train that is!...It lasted about 5 seconds....We do get them quite often up here only last month while waiting in my car at approx 6am for a friend to turn up to play golf the car shook a bit....So no big news but a on the spot report!!lol  dave from Chiang rai
