Here's a daft thing...
My wife's phone cover has a magnetic catch on it's flap. I was surprised when I saw a new 26 stuck to it. I tried a new baht coin and it stuck too.
None of the older coins in the piggy bank stuck though.
So...is it a sign of the economy when the Mint start making coinage with a ferrous metal content. OR are these coins fakes.
Surely not.

Swedish Lawnmower Spares
2012-02-02 21:03:47
After the sad demise of Ian in Phan I've been wondering what to do about spare parts for my push-me/pull-you and Ride-on mower
Quite by chance I got a call today from the Bicycle Shop between Pratu Salee and Wat Srikerd. He has taken over the dealership for spares for the orange monsters.
Am I allowed to put his phone number on here? Don't know! Whatever, if you need a contact number PM me
Cheers

Bike Bits

Hi folks,
I'm in need of anything to do with bicycles. Anything at all and the rustier, broken and bent the better. Literally anything, handlebars, brake levers, bells, saddles, forks, wheels, frames, pedals, and even gears or chains either separate or connected. (not motorcycle bits, by the way)
If you just happen to be cleaning out the back of your garage and come across anything of this nature. I'd be more than happy to come round and take it off your hands.
Thanks in advance

Naive Question?

Hi folks down there.
Two of us are planning a cycling trip from Bangkok to Singapore soon(ish). From the reports on some Thai TV channels, the chances of getting through the last bit heading south safely appear pretty grim.
What's you opinion? Is it safe enough now? What would be the best route too please?
Thanks for your advice.

Uttaradit

Hi all,
Just wondering if there is anyone reading the Chiang Mai forum who may live just South of Uttaradit maybe around Tron or Phrom Phiram as I am looking for some information on that area.
The information I need is whether there is a small guest house or other form of accommodation for one night along the 1204 or 1275 roads? I will be cycling the route in October and getting all the way to Uttaradit may not be possible.
Any help anyone could give would be gratefully received.
Thanks a million in advance.
