a BiL was involved in a serious accident that requires major surgery...the wife got hold of a police report that is a complete fabrication and it appears that the perp paid off the cops to obtain something favorable to him...now the wife wants to approach the local cops (the police report was issued by police in the next province) and seek justice...

I said: 'don't mess with the cops as they are a corrupt brotherhood and we presently have a peaceful life and we got kids to think of...' but she persists and then I said to contact a lawyer for him to handle her appeal as the cops wouldn't listen to her if she approached them directly herself...

what would you do?

arrggghhh...and she never told me that her tooth hurt...they just pulled the mother and now the most beautiful little girl in the world is a snaggle puss...she showed me the extracted tooth and it was a mess, half gone with caries but she never did complain of any pain??? arrgghhh....one never knows in rural asia...I wanna know who is responsible and I'm gonna kill 'em...

so now she shall get the best bridge job available in Thailand to cover the hole in her otherwise brilliant smile...but she's only 9 y.o.; so do we wait until her head is fully formed for the job to happen? she can sustain the ugly pull out job until she's fully formed but I shall not allow tooth decay to disfigure my little girl!!!

she's 9 y.o. now so when would be the best time to think about cosmetic dentistry? I'd say around 15-16 y.o. but that's a long time to wait when she's certainly gonna be concerned about being a snaggle puss before that...

and this brings up an issue; that in rural Thailand no one sees the dentist unless there is an acute condition usually with an extraction involved...regular check ups are unknown and considered to be a waste of money...

my little girl!!!...oh, boo hoo...

now, bein' yanks and britishers we all agree that a nice BLT warms the palate and the heart...

but all they got widely available in Thailand are packages of American-style streaky bacon which when cooked is flexible like pasta...toast the bread, do the mayo then the toms, salad and streaky bacon and then devour...

a UK BLT uses bacon rashers that are not widely available in Thailand; what do the britishers do then? and what has been done to adapt streaky bacon to a traditional brit BLT...

come on, let's hear it...it ain't just yankee ingenuity that built the world...

today I went for a 90 day report to find that the Ampo Mall office has closed. The premises has shifted to a site near the riverfront which may have been the previous location prior to the flooding (the only previous site that I knew was the old location behind the sports stadium). The 90 day reporting section is in a cubicle behind the main building. As usual, good service; in and out in about 15 minutes at 1130am...

hello, folks...I wanna suss out the expense and hassle for the subject journey...some folks here have probably flown direct to Buenos Aires, Lima, Peru or Santiago in Chile...what can one expect with regard to cost and travel time? (to travel next week)

I saw something on the wego.com website that advised thb260k and a 40 hour journey...unbelievable...and I got high blood pressure an' diabetes and can barely walk...
