It's a long way off, but I like to plan our holidays and then look forward to them.
We fancy a place south of Hua Hin. Nice beach, restaurants, etc.. but not too busy.
I like the idea of a beach bungalow or cabana. We have a car so getting to out of
the way places are possible.
Me, the wife and two young sons. Any of you guys got some suggestions for us?
We'll be visiting for about 10 days, so a nice clean place is a must.

to procure samples to back up my theory . . . .

Beer Chang Export produces no hangover! What a result!
I have tried massive amounts in one sitting and awoken
feeling like an Olympic champion who hasn't seen a beer
in decades. Fresh as a daisy. Perfectly lucid and throb
free!! Note that this is the newer 'Export' variety of
Chang which boasts to be 100% malt, not the original mind
blower that always made me suffer.
Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. It works!

Looking at all the folks up here in Isaan, I can't help wondering how
healthy this diet of there's is. There's not too many fit looking old
codgers going around, are there? And they must be living off the land
for most of their grub.
There are lots of healthier looking OAP's in the West who have probably
eaten a much less veggie-filled diet.
I know they put in a lot of work under the sun, and all that, but you
don't see many particularly spritely old seniors around here.

I'm doing the Mukdahan to Bangkok trip again and as I like
a wee look at the places in between I have decided to stop
in Korat for a day or two and let my boys have a gander at
the zoo.
Can any of you guys suggest a good hotel or resort which is
reasonably close to the zoo?

The wife was telling me that a show on Channel 3 covered
complaints of a local Udon lad (around 21) who is of Thai/Farang
parentage and is getting away with all sorts of nonsense due to
his large inheritance and 'good' contacts.
Seems like a nice lad; bombed a shop, shot someone, runs a gang etc..
