Audio Cassettes: Video Tapes

2012-05-09 11:20:05

I have a large number of audio tapes, mostly classical music, and a similar number of video tapes. I don't even have a machine to play the tapes on now, ahd they are just clutteringn up my house.
Can anyone suggest a good home for this, or is it realistically the dustbin?

Cycling Group

2010-09-30 13:01:53

I am investigating the possibility of forming a cycling group to go for a ride perhaps twice a week, and get the exercise we so much need.
As I see it, the group would ride at a steady speed, but not breakneck, and would stop perhaps twice to top up on water, and let any stragglers catch up. A ride would be around 20-25 km. We would meet outside Carrefour, which is central, at say, 4 p.m. when the heat of the day has passed.
The group would suit both sexes, and any age, really, except the very young and very old. Bikes ought to be in good working order, but not necessarily specialized.
Please give me some feedback, and perhaps have a word with friends who might be interested but not necessarily native English-speakers and who rarely look at the
Pattaya forum.
Over to you!

Dog Enjoy

Readers with pets (not just dogs as the name suggests) may be interested in the "Dog Enjoy" shop on 3rd Road, on the right hand side about 300 metres before reaching Central Road. This shop has an extraordinary range of pet food/snacks/toys etc, and certainly the tinned and dry food is cheaper than anything I have found in Pattaya or Naklua. The shop is 3 units wide, and has a good large sign (in English) outside.

The Finest Dentist

2010-06-12 09:17:23

I have sat in more dentists’ chairs than I care to remember, suffering from poor teeth since my early childhood. Now, at the age of 63, I am pleased to say that Khun Warin, on Pattaya Central Road, is the finest dentist I have ever met, and in my case, that is a significant statement.

Khun Warin is excellent, -positive and caring, and will save teeth whenever possible. Moreover, patient comfort is a major consideration for him. He is simply superb.

I have recommended him to many people, and all, either directly or indirectly to me, have expressed their enormous satisfaction with his skills. If you need more convincing, witness his crowded appointments’ book!

The Dental Care Centre can be found 150 metres from Central/Third Road traffic lights going towards the beach, (and is directly opposite a small pharmacy called ‘For You’ Pharmacy). Tel.no. is 038 720079  Closed on Sundays.
