Can anyone recommend a tyre place in Pattaya for a repair to a tubeless car tyre. I want a proper repair  not have an inner tube put in. I know there are many tyre places along the Sukhumvit can anyone recommend a particular one?

Using Thai Driving Licences To Drive In The Uk

I read on another thread of the possibility of using a Thai licence to drive in the UK to which someone responded that any licence can be used for a period up to one year.   Another poster added the proviso that this only applies if you do not hold a UK licence which would 'trump' the Thai one.

My question is, having lived in Thailand for a number of years and 'burnt my bridges' so to speak with the UK can I let my UK licence expire (next year, I think) and rely on my Thai versions for riding a bike, car rental etc when visiting the UK on an occasional basis in the future?

Since yesterday I have found the App on iPhone gets interrupted by an advert from Amazon virtually every time start reading a new topic. Is this supposed to get Amazon new customers or to put people off both ThaiVisa & Amazon for life? I won't be reading anything else on ThaiVisa on my iPhone as it irritates to much.

A recent topic on this forum has attracted 6000+ views and 220 posts in 9 days.  By far the most interesting(?) apparently for many of us in recent times but due to an inability to follow the Board rules this thread has now been closed, before reaching a satisfactory conclusion I might add.   Well done to those of you who can't remain civil or on topic and who have brought about it's premature closure.  I think that maybe what this forum needs is terminators as well as moderators to terminate persistent offenders!
