About Me
Retired to Thailand 4 years ago,will be moving from Udon Thani soon.Time to hit the road for a while,take in the sights.
Have just renewed my retirement visa in Australia.no proof of income required.Only an application form and $220aud,7 days later,a new stamp in a new passport.
The visa is called an O.A .......After one year in Thailand,a trip across the bridge to Lao.......One more year...with multiple exit entry......never have to go to Nong Khai again to renew.....!!
Interests for me are wide and varied,not interested in local bars or the night life.I tend to find solace in solitude!

A german friend of mine who resides In Prasat (Surin Province) is renting a house.The Thai owner took him to the local land office.And 3 hours later he was issued with his Yellow house book.Apparently he only had to produce his passport.Nothing else!

You have to apply for an "international transport permit' from your nearest land transport office.The initial cost is 1000 baht and a 50 baht yearly renewal.
