Thanks for all the helpful replies. Much appreciated.
As a result of internet searches, I now have one more silly question. Does the first 12 month extension start from the date of the last entry into Thailand or the date of the issue of the extension? A couple of sites suggested the former, which surprised me.
Thanks

The only plausible reason I can find is that major banks and investors want to get out of the Euro. So maybe there is some kind of crisis afoot in the Eurozone.

If we are then propping up the Euro to the tune of 10 billion and it seems banks etc maybe moving from Euro assets to GBP; it beggers the question as to whose money exactly we are lending them. Or more crudely have the government bribed entities to come and invest in GBP assets with their support to the Euro & IMF.with presumably the taxpayers money.

friendly advice: try to gather, compile and evaluate information from other sources than Telegraph and Daily Mail journàsslists.
If you belive that Naam ,you are not as smart as i thought , but then i believe you are German ,so as i believe a famous woman once said "well,he would say that wouldnt he"
The quote was "well he would wouldn't he". The woman was the English call girl Mandy Rice-Davies.
What that, or being German, has to do with the value of the pound is not clear to me.

This guy was probably guilty and in that sense I have little sympathy. The next guy will probably be guilty as well.
But how long will it be before innocent people are subjected to this sort of justice?
Law courts are not perfect, but they are a lot safer than kangaroo courts.

I think he should have been made to wear the t-shirt for the rest of the day! I'm sure it would be preferable to a criminal record?
Sent from Android please excuse errors in type or judgement
As I said, this man was probably guilty, but the fact is I do not know for sure. Given the conviction of your post you obviously have more knowledge of the facts than I do.
Please provide the details.
- Has the victim made a complaint or was she too ashamed, shy or otherwise unwilling to get involved?
- Was he caught in the act?
- Were there witnesses? If so are they reliable? What did they actually see?
- Has the man confessed? Did he confess willingly? Is his confession believable?
