The following applies to BKK immigration!

We know that the official rule for retirement (800K Baht) extension is 2 months for first time applicants and 3 months for all subsequent applications.

Here in BKK the same rule had been applied for "Thai Wife" extensions (400K Baht) for the past three years, Even had to sign a paper to that effect even though the official written rule states only 2 months for all applications.

Last week I went for my annual renewal and was presented with the same paper but it stated that from now on the deposit has to be in the account for 2 (two) months on the day of application.
I asked the officer and she said that yes it is now two months for all applications, "Immigration finally compromised" (Her words!)

Eye Patches With Elastic Band, Where To Buy?

Due to radiation treatment (facial cancer) I am going to lose my left eye.

What I am looking for is the rather flat usually black type with an elastic band for ease of removal and flat enough that I can still wear my reading glasses.

Any idea where I could find them?

I've asked at many big pharmacies and Drugstores, even the biggest in Thailand (Fascino) and at the hospital (Siriraj) which is treating me, but they all have only the big type plastic and Alu cups which have to be taped on and over which you can not wear glasses.

What Happened To"Stop Watching Topic" Button?

In the past when subscribing to a topic using the "Watch topic" button this button changed to "Stop Watching Topic", now it remains as a "Watch topic" button.
The subscription is working OK but now have to dig through my settings in order to unsubscribe.
The "Stop Watching Topic" button was very convenient. Please bring it back.

Just found out we have run out of stock of the WP.5 form.

Anyone know if it is available online somewhere?
Would save us a trip to the local Labor Department office.
