The way we got around not having to breathe in the smog was to buy a small house on Koh Chang. We just arrived back two days ago. Next year we will spend the whole time there during the 'Burn Offs"

I thought that Trip Adviser catered mainly(about 90%) for Back Packers so the survey could be right as all the places have hundreds of cheap,cheap Back Packer Hostels and Homestays. Think about it.

Its not only speed that is the danger as my wife and I were waiting for a friend at Chiangrai Bus Station last month and a Mini Bus pulled in from Prae. It has a sign on the side licensed to carry 10 passengers. Well believe it or not we counted 21 people get out of the van. Yes 21. That is a serious safety problem with overloading and where in hell did some of them sit?????

Just arrived back from our house on Koh Chang and going back as soon as I do my buisness here. The air on the Island is clear and smoke free. I am sending more furniture to Koh Chang and once I have arranged a truck we are OFF.
