Not sure if TV Readers know but Feb2-4 2012 is the Wahoo International Sportfishing Tournament at the Similans. More than 30 Teams from around the world are taking part and with over $100,000 3Million THB+ in Prize money it should be a competition to add to any diary.
I wish all the participants the best of luck and hopefully it is a success and will be repeated as an annual event on the Phuket Calander.

Another Rawai/Nai Harn Character Sadly Passes Away.

It is with sadness that I inform PTV that a character Dr Ian a long time resident of Rawai and a Tsunami Survivor passed away peacefully at 7.15 pm last night. Dr Ian a retired Scotsman and character was well known in the local area and had been fighting disease for a long time. known for his Bloody Mary's for breakfast and the occasional spill on his Red Honda  also aTsunami survivor he will be sadly missed for his dry humor and easy going attitude. RIP Dr Ian

Well Done Phuket FC in beating Thai Premier Team Sri Racha (Blue Marlin) away from home 2-3 tonight winning 4-3 on aggregate to go into the next round of the Thai League Cup 2011.
