Having read and gone through many helpful links on this site it is my turn to prepare my application, I have placed below a first draft of my supporting letter, could you please read and make any observations or improvements or items which I should not even mention. Please be as brutal as you wish as it can only improve my final letter.

Re: Application for a visitor’s visa by Mr Thanaphon Kanphan, known as Pikky.


I write in support of Mr Kanphans application to visit the United Kingdom for a holiday.


Brief Background
I am a British national of 54 years of age and work for Domino’s Pizza UK, Ireland & Germany (Domino's Pizza) based here in Thailand as an International Sourcing Executive. Thanaphon Kanphan (Pikky) is a Thai national of 30 years of age and currently owns/runs Cupidol Bar in Pattaya, which makes a reasonable profit each month. I first met Pikky back in 2009 when he was working as a waiter in one of my friend’s bars, we got to know each other quite well going to discos and karaoke etc, we started forming a relationship in March 2009 where we saw each other every day and spend all our evenings together as we currently still do. I currently live in my ex-boyfriends house in a separate room where Pikky stays every night, Pikky currently still maintains his own apartment until we find somewhere to live together later this year. Over the past 3 years we have traveled together to Hong Kong two times, South Africa (Cape Town) and Shanghai China. In July of 2011 Pikky bought the leasehold to Cupidol bar with my financial help, this has been a good success which you can see from the accounts submitted. As mentioned before I currently work for Domino’s Pizza and have to return to the UK twice a year for updates with my boss and other colleagues, on my trip back in August I would like to take Pikky with me and make a holiday of it as well, meeting up with family and friends, it is also my Nephew’s wedding on the 4^th August (invitation attached) which would be a great opportunity for Pikky to meet all my relations. We would both return to Thailand at the same time so we can both get back to work.

Myself and Pikkys circumstances

I am a salaried employee of Domino’s Pizza and work 3 days a week. My salary is £xxxx and I have a living allowance of £xxx per year, plus I have a rental income from my home back in the UK of £XXX per year. I own a 4 bedroom house in Northampton which is rented to a friend Mr Niels xxxx, where Pikky and I will stay during the holiday (Letter attached). I will be financing Pikkys holiday from my income, I also have many shares within Domino’s pizza which could be sold if needed, if a situation should arise. Pikky will hand the responsibility of the bar to Mr Dang the current manager of the bar and a friend for many years, he is more than competent in doing so. Pikky will not work in the UK and does not need to as he has a god income from Cupidol bar back in Pattaya. I will also ensure Pikky has accurate health insurance for the duration of holiday.

Reason why Pikky will return to Thailand at the end of her holiday
Pikky is an intelligent individual and understands very well it would be folly to jeopardize our relationship or any future trips we may want to make to the UK in the future. Pikky also has a very good profitable business with 30 plus staff he is responsible for and cares very much for their well being. Pikky also owns a car (papers attached) which he is now into one year of payments made, he definitely would not want to lose that.

Can anyone tell me what to expect in discounts or give a ways for a new Honda City Sv At (SRS) in Pattaya. Last time got free insurance for one year.

Does anyone have a good contact to exterminate termites, I have a invasion in the kitchen eating the wood very happily. Would like a company who can speak some English, and would like to have a years contract for monthly spraying.

Any help would be grateful.
