Last year I didn't expect floods and was able to renew my extension in October in the normal way, then leave for the duration of the floods This year, if floods are forecast again I shall wait in UK before returning. In that case I expect that my retirement visa will lapse when I don't extend it. Does anybody know the procedure for making another retirement visa?
Would I need to start again, new non-imm. visa, police clearance, how long I should need to be in Thailand to get the retirement visa etc.?

If anyone here also reads T-L.com can you have a look at my posts and see if there is anything I have posted which would justify being banned. It gave me quite a chill in my stomach to read the notice when I tried to log-on, one feels kike a criminal. I use the same name there 'tgeezer', people seem quite friendly and reasonable so it is something of a surprise to be banned and I should like to know why if that is possible.

I used the service at the airport during the floods in October and it was excellent, is it still available? I would like to repeat the procedure at the end of March if possible.
Also the pinned information is still referring to Suan Plu .

Re-entry at departures Immigration gate far right after check-in, need to check -in first. Desk with camera and forms. 200 baht surcharge making 1200 total. Takes only about 10 minutes if no queue; very good service.

I think it seems likely that I shall have to abandon ship in the face of the floods. The last notice I saw at immigration when I renewed my Retirement extension was that exit visas were no longer available at Sawanapum. Does any one know if this is so? it will be a pain if I have to lose my extension.
