Anyone heard loud rumblings?
I'm in the phrom pong area and just heard 2 longish loud rumblings. Not a single cloud in the sky and it's does not sound like thunder.
Happened lastnight as well. But twice tonight. It just set all the dogs off.
Anyone?

Nightly Police Spot Checks
2010-07-18 00:21:46
There have been nightly police spot checks on Soi Phrom Pong.
I have noticed them for the past week.
They setup at the bridge entering Phrom Pong from Petchaburi rd.
Anyone knows the reason? Usually a spot check last a couple of nights but this have been going on for over a week (that I know off as I was away for a month).
I have also noticed they are stopping mainly females. Hope its not another one of those (waste of time) "morality" campaigns.

Kopitiam Malaysia On Suk26
2010-06-20 13:51:59
Recently went back to Kopitiam Malaysia on Sukumvit.
Was wondering if the place is under new ownership 'cos
1) The name is Archa (maybe always been that but I never noticed)
2) The food was bad. Its been many many months since I was last there and the food quality, taste wise, has deteriorated. I ordered the gado gado, the sauce was bland and tasteless. The morning glory fried with sambal balachan, hardly taste any balachan and it was basically morning glory fried with chili. The Assam laksa, only way to describe it would be dishwater.
I had always enjoyed eating at Kopitiam but this time I left dissappointed.
