There is a clinic upcountry next to my local baker that has foetuses in medicinal jars on display in the shop window.

Knowing that foetuses are sometimes kept in Thailand for shrines and the such, I don't see his crime as that heinous. You can say how distasteful it is that this is the case, but nonetheless, it is the case.   I doubt he was killing women to harvest them.  It is no doubt a bizarre thing to want to buy, but I don't presume that he was the one carrying out the abortions or harvesting them himself.  

There are other perpetrators in the list who have carried out the operations and even more worryingly actively sold them.

So I can see some macho types seeing their feminine girlfriend now with a mannish woman and refusing to come back, feeling their honor is somehow besmirched.  I also see it as stupid and shallow.

And rather than they wonder what THEY did so wrong to make her leave, and then take up with someone willing to treat her like a princess, they lash put and figure' if they get rid of the Tom then the girl will come back'. Wrong you ran them off with bad personality, and they met someone else, fool.

It is a blindly insecure narcissistic reaction, and likely explains the personality defects that made the girl leave to begin with. And when that moves to violence it is likely quite violent since honor here is blown out of proportion.

Truly sad, and the police MUST do better... but doubtful this will happen unless something like a 'League For Pro-Tom Justice' creates a fund to pay for investigations into tom murders.

The fact of the matter is the farang had apologised for trying to enter with the bottle (to go to the toilet while he was waiting for a vacant table) told the bar staff that now he didnt want to wait any longer for a table if they wouldnt allow him to go pee and had well left the bar before being set upon from behind 50meters down the road.

Sorry but that is Un-called for full stop whether you are farang, Thai or a purple alien.

I have Epilepsy, although not inaccurate it's the first time I've seen a reporter insensitive enough to call it a brain disorder. For the record we're perfectly sane individuals.

Mix desperate uneducated drug users, add criminal overlords, stir with corrupt police service, and let simmer for a while. Add perception of wealthy farang, preferably drunken and/or alone and serve in body bag.

Looks like a stupid recipe but we know it works.
