I have been staying in Thailand off and on for 17 years. Tonight I stay at the R-con Blue Hotel in Pattaya. There is a beer bar complex that is attached to the hotel ( same owner) and at 1:00am in the morning the music is so loud that I can not even hear my TV and no chance to fall asleep. What the hell are they thinking? Why do they not consider the health effects. Why don't they understand that children near these places loose sleep and it affects their education ?

It is Tuesday morning 1:00 am and I am sure you can hear this noise for blocks. This hotel is located right beside the bar complex and the noise is crazy. Why are Thai people so inconsiderate to the needs of others ? Why does the government not put fines on these people who disrupt our lives ? But the big question is why is the hotel so stupid to let their own beer bars disrupt the hotel guest's stay ?

I checked into this nice new hotel on Soi Baukaow for a one month stay. Had a good price and rooms looked good for the money. After staying there for a few days the noise started. There is a new beer bar complex opened next door. The bars are just starting to open and are having parties almost every evening until 2:00 am and sometimes 4:00am. The music is so loud that my windows shake. The base sound just goes through my entire body. It is so loud  in my room that I have to raise my voice just to talk to my gf. If I did not pay for a month in advance to get a good price I would have left after the first crazy night. The most crazy part of this entire thing is that the hotel owns the beer bar complex. I know they get complaints but the management don't have a clue how to stop it. But They Own the Hotel and the Bar Complex...WTF It amazes me how Thailand lets as-holes disrupt the lives of hundreds perhaps thousands of people so a few can have their fun and perhaps make a few baht. I am currently sitting in my room on the upper level and the noise is so loud you would not believe. I have lived in Thailand for many years and know all about the noise but this is too much. I have learned one thing, before I book a room for a month I will be sure to stay an evening or two to make sure nothing like this again.

Does anyone know if there was a vote today in Korat ? My Gf said she voted in her village near Korat today, March 18. I have not seen on News. Just wondering ???

I was told I needed to go to Immigration to get paper work prior to buying a motorcycle. Can I receive the necessary paperwork with only a Tourist Visa ?
