Tyres Again

Poster puts in "Secondhand Tyres" into the topic search, it comes up with a link 6 years old, so he puts in a post, then another post and then its closed because its too old,
  So whats the point of having a Topic Search option??

Over the last 5 years ive noticed thais coming out of the neighbours noodle resturant, they are mopping there brows, coughing,eyes watering,Mrs sometimes has a noodle dish, she adds a teaspoon of salt,sugar and chili powder, and ends up with watering eyes and drinking a litre of water right quick, Ive had the noodle dish without the spices and its tasteless, its been cooked for 5/6/7 hours, the greens are green and all the goodness has long gone, the pork balls, well, say no more, its all junk hidden by spices,

Rice Thresher

Normally in this part of Issan most rice threshers are truck or Ford tractor mounted, driven by the 4cyl engine via belt,
Question is, would a Kubota 10/12/14 hp engine sucessfully drive a thresher, i mean the normal sort of thresher, blue colour, about 1.5 mtr long, 1 mtr high, and how much would a new thresher cost, or a very good S/H one,

Renewing A Thai Lisence When Abroad

My ozzie mates Thai Mrs is coming here for Songkram, and has asked us to help her get a Thai lisence, no problem there, thing is, first one is temporary, {1 year] and has to be renewed within a few days either side of the expiry date, so can it be done by post?

It appears there is no tests when up-grading to a 5 year,[well, not in my case or the wifes] his Mrs cant guaratee she will be back in time next year.

Also for you Ozzie posters, is a thai lisence valid in Australia, could she get an Aus lisence without tests ect,

Shopping In Udon,

Monthly we go to Udon, Mrs needs salon and shop stuff, i need steak & kidney pies, pork pies, english mustard,

So we go to salon wholesaler first, then Makro, [where the mrs takes 2k baht from me to pay for shopping] then onto Arkwrights for my home comforts, as we were leaving Arkwrights, mrs said I forgot to buy sugar for leg waxing, I said, too bad mrs monkey, you spent all your money, she said, "i have money,but its in your back pocket"
I had to smile at this, and bought some sugar,

Anybody got some similar stories about their mrs, like to see them, Cheers, Lickey..
