A friend of mine received an email from a company called "Real Teachers in Thailand" warning him of an apparent Child molesting teacher, who is also wanted for somehow making a business go bankrupt.
Here is a copy as per the rules names have been removed and picture as well
Dear HR Manager;
My name is xxxxxxx and I am a manager at the Bangkok branch of Real Teachers in Thailand, a relatively new watchdog company that specializes in finding false or illegal educators in Bangkok - and warning schools of their presence.
The above picture is that of xxxxxxxx, a British National who has been pretending to be a legitimate teacher in Bangkok for many years.
Our records show that his resume is falsified and although he only holds a two year degree in finance, his resume reflects that he is qualified at a master's level. This man is responsible for the closure of one institution by undermining the authority of the owner and headmaster and causing the loss of a lucrative contract with Mahidol University. He has also been fired from elementary schools for child abuse and unprofessional conduct, therefor he currently only teaches adults.
His modus operandi is simple: He always accepts contracts from corporate training divisions of local educational institutions that pay five to seven hundred Thai Bt. per hour; he then plays the part of a punctual / well dressed teacher - until he is observed instructing, or is evaluated by students who complain - and he is then dismissed promptly.
Our records also show that there has recently been an action filed against him with the labor department which is based on the fact that he has several contracts with private schools while serving for the Royal Thai Navy on a government work permit. These schools will soon be liable to pay a fine of one to three hundred thousand Thai Bt., depending on the outcome of the case.
It is our recommendation that you DO NOT HIRE Mr. xxxxxx, and if you currently have him in your employ, to dismiss him promptly and contact the Royal Thai Labor Department to inform them of this action.
If you have any questions concerning this man or any other's suspected of being false or illegal teachers, or have any information you would like to pass on to us about like practitioners – feel free to send me
Has anyone ever seen something like this? Is it a business owner trying to get back at this guy or what?
Any information or thoughts are most welcome

New Rules Pertaining To Taxis
2012-05-12 11:48:46
Whilst my wife was getting ready to go out, there was a thing in the news about Taxis, the main points beings:
1. A taxi cannot refuse a fare.
2. The meter must be used at all times.
If this does not happen you can report the taxi to the Central (1584) and you will also receive a bonus for doing so. You must use the ID of the taxi (one inside the door, or registration plate)
My Opinion - this is not gonna work, also if it is a farang that calls, are the staff in the central confident enough in English.

Project Management Courses

Basically am looking to get a certification as a Project Manager, to help in applying for various other jobs.
I was a Project Manager for a large Telecom player in Europe and helped build a Country wide network. I had no training or anything just stuck in at the deep end.
Now am looking to get back into the contracting network and seem to find that jobs want a certification like Prince 2 or PMP, I don't think I could do PMP as have not really done any project work for a very long time, so maybe CAPM is an alternative to get some credentials.
Does anyone know if I can get this done in Thailand, and if so any contacts, also am I on the correct track?
Thanks for any advice good or bad

New Topics Starting, Whereas The Old One Could Be Updated

Recently the shooting of the afghans was presented on here as a World News post, instead of continuously updating the post with the newest information, a new post has been started, why are these posts not put together, is it because the poster is a sponsor?
This abuses TV, as we other posters are continuously updating our posts to help others in their quests for answers, where are the parallels between sponsors and posters when adding topics. Even the mods ask the posters to post in a particular post to aid someone, instead of opening a new post.
Stop the updates and post in the original post, and do not delete comments from those who ask you to do it in future, space on servers is not just for the sponsors but for those who read and also give input to TV. Those who input, although not paying, contribute more to TV than others.
