This event has not been reported and clarified on another site ''that must not be mentioned''....

Has now....Posted Image

yeah, i just saw it on that site. on-lookers said it as two to three people, but that doesn't matter. i continue to reiterate to everyone ... the water is dangerous this time of year, no matter how much of a skilled swimmer or surfer you are ... please be careful and sensible about places near the water you think are safe to sit.

Sorry, the Ab Zab Restaurant would've been on my right. I hope someone knows the location ... it's not far from Nakalay Beach Resort, and this area where the possible drowning took place is blocked off by a fence and a green tarp, for construction purposes I suppose.

And by foreigner it can be assumed they mean Burmese. Machetes are the weapon of choice among this demographic, and machete attacks during disputes between Burmese day laborers is not uncommon, but often not reported in the media.

Poor little dude.

My experience with the Burmese in the five years that I have lived here is that they LOVE dogs. Plus, the dog was found in Patong. How many Burmese people hang out in Patong? Ahhh, it doesn't matter. Poor little guy. Hope he heals well.

Well, welcome to the real world. The hotel owes you nothing. They were your employer, not your nanny. Business is bad, so the weak have to go. I only hope this is a new trend in Phuket with tourists finally getting the message.

The hotel does owe them. The weak have to go? The place was bought out, that's why current employees have to go. I work in this business, and the Thai Labor Law & Department will compensate them. Perhaps not the entire amount they are owed, but they will be compensated.

If you want to drop her by close to the main tesco, we'll take care of her in front of our business. Our business' dog went home a few months ago and its been lonely for the people working there.

The main Tesco - the one on Soi Saiyuan, the one near Rawai pier, the one just after Chalong Circle, or are you talking the big Tesco in Phuket town? If you are willing to look after her, I'll drop her by. Perhaps PM me, if you can, and let me know which Tesco and which business I should leave her out in front of.
