About Me

I'm a member of Soka Gakkai International, a movement founded upon the philosophy and practice of the Nichiren School of Mahayana Buddhism.

Based upon the Lotus Sutra, Nichiren taught that all life inherently contains the potential of the buddha state which exists eternally and manifests as compassion, courage, wisdom and life-force.

As we chant Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, the buddha state emerges from within, enabling us to draw on limitless inner resources and thereby actively contribute to a creative and peaceful society. From Japanese, Soka Gakkai means school of value creation, this is activated through natural laws, just like the laws of physics.

Contacting Ryanair From Outside Europe

Has anyone here made an online booking with Ryanair from outside Europe?
I made a booking less than 72 hours ago, got a booking reference, copied, pasted the page and saved the information but never received an email confirmation from them. I tried to retrieve the booking in the usual place 'manage my booking' but the reservation is non-existent. I have searched the whole website but there is no way of contacting them by email, not even the possibility of sending a slow feedback message. Posted Image

Hi there!

Do you know any small medical clinics in Jomtien?

A farang friend from that area had a bad accident last night, he got away with a lot of abrasions and cuts all over one side of his body, went to Memorial, wasn't impressed with the dressing. He can't travel far but needs to clean the wounds every day. Any recommendations?

It might just be that I'm having a deja vu but I have a feeling of having posted this question already. I just can't find it around the forum, though therefore I'm going to ask:

What do you do with used batteries? Is there a facility in Pattaya where they can be disposed of safely?

I have just found out that I have a couple of nodules on my vocal cords. I am in a bit of a mess as I also suffer from chronic synusitis and rhinitis forcing me to breathe with my mouth most of the time.
My throat is sore and I struggle to speak because my voice comes and goes.

The doctor advised me to speak as little as possible but I teach and without using my voice I cannot work.

She also suggested that I try a speech therapist but told me that the queues to see one are long.

Do you think a speech therapist is absolutely necessary and if so would you recommend one in particular around Chonburi/Bangkok area?
