Just been in Suksapan nr Ekkamai looking for 91% (or more) IPA, they sell other kinds of alcohol, but not that. I particularly need IPA for making a home brew vinyl record cleaning solution. I refuse to pay 1000 baht in a hi-so hi-fi shop for something I can concoct myself for a fraction of the price!

I received a reply after using the Thailand Post web inquiry form. They told me the items would normally be sent to Taling Chan post office, but that it was flooded. They didn't tell me where my items were instead of being at Taling Chan, instead they just asked for tracking numbers - which I can't give for most items as they were sent from the UK using standard Royal Mail airmail.

Does anyone know which depot they'd be at if waiting to go to Taling Chan? I want to go and collect the items.

Only a very small amount of surface water on the southbound lane of srinakarin at the junction with Suan luang, and about 100m down toward Seacon. Seacon, Paradise park etc still completely dry.

Hi Marc,

Ideally you need either a work permit, or otherwise copies of pay slips / proof of income.

S far as I know SCB internet banking does not have the facility to setup regular overseas transfers.

You'll have to go into an SCB branch every month to do a Swift / Telex transfer (I think that's what they're called). I do it quite regularly and it can take around an hour in the bank. However, the money usually appears in my UK account just a couple of hours later.

Well, when I contacted David about a pair of Adam Tensor Deltas he gave me a very attractive price, so it is possible to get Adam home audio stuff from KDM as well as pro stuff.
