For a family a member.... Married (only in Thailand), both Thai... one of whom (the wife) is a Thai American dual national with both passports. Three kids, all of which are also dual nationals with both passports. My question is, what is the appropriate Visa class the husband (who only has Thai citizenship) should apply for if they don't plan on travel any time soon, but would like to have it there just in case. Would B-2 be the best one to apply for or is there another visa type that we should be looking at? Also, has anyone applied for a US visa and left the 'travel plans' section undeclared? Would that produce negative results?
:-)

California Wow Lifetime Membership....
2011-11-14 12:44:21
I know the whole business model of fitness centers is that most people are just too lazy to keep on working out.... but say if you don't fall into that category and have a life time membership, is there any other way for them to get rid of you or at the very least up your annual membership fees? I'm on one of those X,000 Baht lifetime deals with California and you pay another 800 Baht or so per year for several years now... it just seems like too good a deal relatively speaking that not that they don't even plan to account for inflation say 20 years from now. The contract is a rather flimsy one that doesn't even really have a 'legal' level of detail.
Has anyone with one of these lifetime deals encountered any issues with California Wow, even after say 7-8 years? 10 years? Do they try to find a way to charge you for something extra?
Not a California Wow ad by the way... for the record, Fitness First and True Fitness are the better experience (or maybe it's just that 80% of the clientele aren't senior citizen/retirees but instead fit office ladies), but there aren't too many options now that I spend most of time in Pattaya.

finding a full or even medium size pumpkin to make a Jack-O-Lantern for tonight (Halloween night) IN PATTAYA. Totally slipped my mind because we were too busy amassing other types of groceries.
We used to use a ceramic one but that was lost during a spontaneous dodgeball accident earlier this year.
Thanks in advance!

Thappraya And Thepprasit Road Intersection Built To Last...
2011-09-03 07:06:43
Well the road is finally paved and painted after about 6 months and millions of Baht worth of 'construction.' Any bets on how long it'll last before it turns back into a pockmarked moonscape again? 15 days? 1 month? first heavy rain?
Name The New Condo Project Contest
2011-07-07 09:57:48
There's no prize, but you'll proudly be able to boast to folks that you helped name 'that place over there',... what a feeling!
Our neighborhood projects are both officially sold out. The next project is a condo complex, two towers off of Thepprasit Road. One tower at a time planned. 18 floors each on the plans at the moment. Details not important for what we need now though....
A nice name for the place. No initials + Condo, like a number of our friends have done. Nothing with 'View' or 'Beach' or 'Sea'... or something like 'X Neighborhood 3,4,5...' in the title. We'll probably go with our current name + area, but would be interested on a new sounding spin on things.
