I have a one year retirement extension. Will fly Bkk to Yangon and stay 3 weeks. Then come back to Bkk for a day. Then fly to Germany and stay. I am not returning to Thailand based on retirement extension which will expire December 2012. Will come back next year. In that case I should not need an exit visa. Just leave for Yangon, when coming back can get a tourist visa for a day. Is that correct?
Thank you
RJ

Child Leaving The Kingdom

My son is 6 years old with German and Thai passports. Left and entered Thailand last time with German passport which now has an entry stamp which has expired. I understand children are not held to the same overstay standards as adults. Which passport should I use to fly out of Thailand to Germany....and who cares...?.RP

There are lots of retired men in Chiangmai that don't get enough exercise. There is more to Chiangmai than booze, women and food? If you like to be in shape why not form some groups that meet regularly for soccer, tennis, or badminton. The 700 year stadium has great facilities for such groups. If you are interested in forming groups arond soccer, tennis and badminton please contact me at eutin45@yahoo.com and we see when we can get together. You have to be over 50 and actually have played soccer, tennis or badminton before. PLEASE STATE YOUR INTEREST GROUP AND HOW YOU CAN HELP TO SPREAD THE WORD. Thais welcome also.

I have a 1 year extension based on retirement. My child 6 years old has German and Thai passports. Last year I returned from a holiday and showed my child's German passport when entering which was stamped. I undertstand the rules for overstaying do not apply for children. When I leave should I show the German or Thai passport or it doesn\t matter as there are no fees for children overstaying?
