I am pleased to say Foxy has won a reprieve. Our pleas to the hotel have been heard and she is back on a trial period! Thanks to the hotel for their understanding.

Perhaps someone could do the dog a favour by NOT LETTING HER RUN OUT AT BIKES because she'll end up getting an innocent motorcyclist killed.   i know she's a nice dog but i can say in all honesty that she nearly had me off my bike once and its just not acceptable what she does.   I'll add to that that i've lost count of how many people she's caused to have major wobbles by running onto the road.

So i ask the question..surely working there for so long you must have seen the danger she was causing?  Why didn't you restrict her movement to make this situation safe?

Are you sure this is the same dog Carmine?  Foxy lives on a dead end soi with no through traffic and has never run out at motorbikes until very recently and then only at one particular person on a bike.

I think the dog you refer to may be "Dead Dog" referred to in earlier posts who chases cars/motorbikes along the ring road near Boncafe/PTT - or used to - he has not been seen for the last week or so!

And a photo?

Thanks for the info Elfe. Pup needs crate confinement for a few more days and is improving day by day. Managing to provide this at the moment and received an offer of help from forum member Itsala so hopefully there will be a good outcome for this lovely pup.

Photo attached now that pup is fit enough

Any further news?

Puppy has amazingly survived and is making good progess. Unfortunately has to leave the vet clinic tomorrow as they cannot keep him there over Songkran. Still no luck finding the owner but will keep trying. Pup needs another 3 weeks of quiet, safe environment due to sustaining a skull fracture whch needs to heal.

Desperately looking for a solution - already have two boisterous dogs and no space to give him the seclusion he needs. If anyone can help please PM.

Deworming any dog is doing it a favour.  From the sound of your post, though, there may be something more radical wrong with him.

+1
Blood parasites cause lethargy and general malaise.  Worthwhile talking to a vet or Dog Rescue about giving a course of appropriate treatment - cheap and effective if started early enough. Treated the soi dog outside our office this way as impossible to take him to the vet. If it is blood parasites dog will get progressively more anaemic (pale gums a tell tale sign) and disease is ultimately fatal.

Soi Dog is very real and has even taken in many dogs rescued from the meat trade. A very worthy charity for those who want to help animals.

+1

check out their website (google soi dog foundation - not sure if I'm allowed to post link). The documentary movie on their site is well worth watching and highlights the vital work they do.
