I notice this past week that my Internet service is not what it usually is. I have TOT. It's has been pretty solid the last couple of months which amazed me but I was previously having issues so I raised a stink and they seemed to had fixed it. But this past week I notice the my service was pretty much nonexistent during the daytime hours but later in the evening and early morning (when I use it the most) it worked great. Tonight I came home around 5:30pm and there was no internet connection. Being the beginning of my weekend I was pretty disturbed but what's a guy to do this late in the evening. I thought, oh no this sucks having no internet and I can't get any response from TOT until tomorrow, if lucky. Well I notice that shortly when it started to turn dark that there where no street lights on in my area. I live in Banwangtan. Well about 5 minutes ago the street lights come on as well as my internet service. So the only thing I can think of (having a technical background) is that TOT has spliced into the Banwangtan power system that feeds the street lights to use for their internet system in this area........ Try explaining that one to the TOT service folks..... Bahhhhhhhh  TIT....

Went to Immigration yesterday to pick up a couple forms. Noticed the parking next door was no longer being allowed as the gate was shut and cars were parked at the gate as well as in the No Parking area along side the road.

Anyone know when this occurred and is it a permanent thing?

Sad if it's a permanent thing because even with that area open parking was still inadequate. (my opinion)

First I took a tuktuk because my car was in the shop. While riding the tuktuk as usual I slump way down so i can get the best look I can at the surroundings and perhaps view more than I would normally get to see when I drive. But like all my other ventures in a tuktuk the freakin roof is so low and the seat sits so high it's difficult to get a good view. While don't they make the tuktuk roofs higher so one can see out?.......Hmmmmmmmm

Then later when I get my car and while driving home I notice a farang driving a scooter behind me. I drive pretty fast and he was driving just as fast to keep up. I notice that he has a handkerchief  folded triangularly over his mouth and is using it as a mask, I'm sure for the exhaust fumes one encounters while driving a scooter. But I notice he's wearing no helmet. Doesn't he know his cranium is more likely to be shattered all over the payment way before he catches any sort of lung disease? Makes you think he's been living in LOS too long and starting to turn into a Thai...... Hmmmmmmmmmm  

If only Thailand could learn.....

Can anyone tell me if the office is open today?
