Wed. Meeting At The Center For Intellectual Enlightenment

Each Wed. at the Little Longhorn, Center for Intellectual Enlightenment we have a discussion starting at 12:00. This week's discussion will center on Laos. We will discuss the war andy why, how many people were killed and why were the deserted. Will also discuss the current social and economic situation in Laos and the role that the Chinese are playing. What will be the effect on Chiang Rai when the new bridge opens at the end of this year. Wed. is hot biscuits and sausage gravy served at 12:00 for the discussion at Don's. Bring a friend along.

New Operating Time And Days At Don'S

Please note the new operating hours and times at Don's Cafe in Chiang Rai:

Closed Sunday and Monday (note: Sunday Buffet has been suspended for now)

We will open Tuesday Thru Saturday at 12:00 and close at 19:00.

We will concentrate on keeping our deli and baked products current to serve you better.

Please advise your friends of these new operating times and hours.

Three Day Closing Of Don'S Cafe For Staff Holiday

We will be closed on Dec. 31st, Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 for staff holiday. Emergencies can be take care of by calling Don at 081 894 6401. Our full service will begin on Jan. 3rd. We open at 11:00 and close at 21:00. Normally closed on Mondays. Our next Sunday buffet will be on Jan 8 at a price 150 Baht per person.

Forum And Discussion About The Bombing Of Pearl Harbor

On Wed. Dec. 7 we will have a special discussion and forum at the Little Longhorn Saloon in Doi Hang on the bombing of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Was there a conspiracy, did the government know where the Japanese fleet was? Why did they send the only 2 aircraft carries out to see with no escorts.  Manny people have theroies so bring yours and lets share them.


We will serve free Nacho Chips and Salsa. The discussion starts at 12:00 and finishes at 15:00.
