I would like to help a friend to sort out a visa and passport BIG PROBLEM...

Well, my mate arrived in thailand with a Non Immigrant ED multi entry valid one year, on a British Passport made in England (the Visa also).

He entered the Kingdom on the 27 Dec 2009, then did a visa run to Kuan Don border post near Satun on the 27th of March 2010. Then he lost his passport a few before he had to go on visa run again normally 25th of June. Unfortunatly his demand for a new passport at the Bankok Brittish Ambassy took too long time, and his now overstay quite a lot...
Trying to sort it out he went to Bangkok last week, the immigration haven't his name in their computer, and they told him to go himself check to the border place that he went on his last visa run...
He didn't knew the name of this border, and was back here in Surat Thani with his new passport that have no any stamp or visa on...
He have his plane ticket for the 19 of August...

Please help us to sort it out, what will he can try to do in the best way to be able to go back home without troubles?
